Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This gorgeous cab has an impressive display of bullseyes and orbs against a background of turbulent kelly green, gold and white, with splashes of peachy orange. I particularly like the variety of multi-colored rings surrounding the bullseyes in this example, including a row of flowery blushing orbs edged in teal shades. There is an attractive degree of gemmy translucence that adds a dimension of depth, unlike its more 'jaspery' brethren. It's a beauty! The stone has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and a curvy designer shape, brilliantly polish both front and back.
