Laguna lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from laguna lace agate, from Mexico. This cab is a fascinating example, with an ornate pattern that seems to have everything but the kitchen sink in it, from fancy fortifications to tiny bullseyes. There's even a sagenitic burst of plumes that resembles a flower in bloom. The coloration is white and shades of slate gray, with splashes of gold and rust here and there. It should be a breeze setting this one to best show it off. The stone has a low rounded dome, a designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
