Imperial cab ~
Offered here is a PRIMO cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This collectibly gorgeous spiderwebbed material is simply marvelous stuff, another member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family I cherish. I particuarly like the multiple patterns of cool green streamers against a backdrop of old ivory, with warmer hued pink/mauve curtains. This one has so much going on in it, I think it's best to let the photos say whatever's left to describe. It's a real keeper, if ever there was one! The stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a graceful designer 'teardrop' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
