Fossil coral cab ~
Offered here is a lovely cabochon of fossilized coral, from Indonesia. This fascinating agate material is composed of the highly silicated remains of colonial sea coral, many millions of years old! It has a one-of-a-kind pattern of orbs, rather than the more typical flower-like starbursts, in gorgeous golden ochre coloration. Neat craqueleur figures in between the orbs, which help define them. This cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a graceful designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
