Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of Australian Offered here is a cabochon of Australian chrysoprase from a newly discovered find near Yerilla, Australia. Like the old Marlboro material, it's a valuable chalcedony colored in beautiful icy green shades by the presence of nickel. This particular example is only about half translucent, with a few black dendrites adding to the visual interest. The stone has a high rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a designer 'crescent' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
