This rather exotic new gem material is so named because it was mined at the base of the highest peak in that part of the country, K2, second in height only to Mt. Everest. This example has just a couple of large rich royal blue spots that contrast beautifully against a white granitic background. It has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a bold designer 'spearhead' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
