Offered here is an extraordinary cabochon of Priday tube agate, from the famous Priday agate beds in Oregon. These grand old thundereggs are thrilling to cut, because one never knows what surprises they hold within. I love the gorgeous blue and smoky hues in this example, and the golden moss tendrils within the tubes encased by haloes of black agate. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a plump designer 'crescent' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
