Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This example is of the agate variety, showing a nice gemmy translucence, my favorite kind. It's a well patterned stone, with pastel apricot, golden yellow and orange bullseyes afloat in a background of palest peach and green gel. It'll make a beautifully unique item of jewelry, easy as can be. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, and a graceful designer crescent shape, polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
