Condor agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of colorful Condor agate, from Patagonia. This classic example has the fiery reddish orange, with bands of red, dark greenish-black, and a thin one in blue. This color combination is typical of this material, unmistakeably Condor agate! There's just nothing else like it. The stone is somewhat translucent, with a sparkly quartz core, and one large bullseye. Beautiful as it is, it isn't perfect; there are a couple pinpoint voids at the tip (tiny unfilled tubes) and a short peek-a-boo hairline that's hardly noticeable. Set this beauty in either gold or silver, and you'll have a real showpiece to be proud of, no doubt! The cab has a well rounded dome of 6.5mm, and a graceful designer drop shape, polished to a gleaming brilliance both front and back.
