Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of Priday moss agate, from the Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. This intriguing stone has a variety of gorgeous mosses, some of which are rather plume-like, suspended in a translucent pool of agate. The surrounding matrix also has nice coloration, in olive green and burnt orange, and frames a unique underwater vista. Using a little imagination, the scene is a sunlit view looking out from a grotto where corals and seaweeds sway in the current. Kinda cool. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'pillow' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
