Dinosaur bone cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Utah's fossilized dinosaur bone. This silicated material is many millions of years old, a marvelous example of the natural preservation of our earth's ancient, extinct 'thunder lizards'. The cells in this fossil bone have been completely replaced by red agate, with blackish hints of the original cell walls. Some of the cells have shadings in bright orange. This cab has a low rounded dome of 4mm, and it is well polished both front and back.
