Prudent man plume agate cab ~
Offered here is an intriguing cabochon of Prudent Man plume agate, from eastern Idaho. This new material certainly cuts appealing stones, and I'm really fond of its green plumes, something of a rarity in the rock world. This one is a splendid example, showing multiple layers of color in a warmly translucent agate. If you employ a bit of imagination, it's rather scenic, like an impressionist painting, perhaps. I don't have a lot more of this lovely plume agate to work with, so if it appeals to you, grab it! The stone has a high rounded dome of nearly 6mm, and a crisp designer shape that's nicely polished both front and back.
