Outback jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of outback jasper from Western Australia. Seems to me it's more dolomitic than jasper, but it's fun stuff just the same. This stone features a bold, contrasting pattern in rich chocolatey browns against a background of rosy pink. Its a pleasing combination that gives this material great designer potential, I think, and hope you will too. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and lustrous polish both front and back.
