Condor agate cab ~
Offered here is a fabulous collector's cabochon of Condor agate, from Patagonia. It was cut from a prized nodule, rather than from the more plentiful seam variety. This extraordinary stone features an outstanding fortification pattern of bands in bright orange, cream and brown, framing a core of blood red shading to raspberry. The core is edged with sparkly agate/quartz . And within that are two tiny purplish centers. The backlit photo falls short of showing the cab's turtleback, a subtle iris effect that's interesting. It's really a surprisingly perfect example I'm offering from my very own collection, and has that rich warm glow about it that is so unmistakeably Condor! Anything made with this stone will be a keeper anyone would be proud to own. The cab has a rounded dome of 5mm, and a designer 'spear' shape, polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
