Butterfly wing jasper cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of butterfly wing jasper, from Mexico. This brecciated jasper is a much sought after classic, and a personal favorite of mine too. This cab is an excellent example of grand old material, full of colorfully varied figure, including pools of translucent smoky agate, and mossy blooms. Any odd lines are either totally and naturally healed or simply part of the pattern, so you just can't go wrong with this beauty; it definitely won't disappoint! The cab has a bold designer shape, a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
