Petrified palm wood cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of rare petrified palm, that I'm told came from California's Mojave Desert. The once-living palm's woodgrain is quite apparent here, with groups of eyes in unusual pastels of pink, orange and tan, with cream. Some areas do have a bit of translucence too, and as you can see, it's quite different from the more common pet palm from Texas, Lousiana, and the new stuff from Indonesia. This one is sure to look grand in most any setting, or as a centerpiece in your collection. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6.5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a slick, glassy polish both front and back.
