Mystery agate cab ~
Offered here is an interesting "mystery" agate replacing fossil remains, which came to me from an estate sale as one little lonely slab. And indeed it is unusual enough that I haven't been able to identify it. Reminds me of Indonesia's fossil coral, and other corals that I've seen from Panama and elsewhere. All I know for sure is that it's very hard material. As you can see, it has several distinct wagon wheel shapes within its blush background. Most of the stone is at least semi-translucent, and a few spots have gemmy pools that pass light easily. Who knows, perhaps it's highly collectible; I just thought it was something different you might enjoy. The cab has a low rounded dome of 5mm, and it is polished both front and back.
