Indio agate cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon of Indio agate, brought in from Mexico a few years back. The material certainly has a unique character, with lacy frills galore, and a pleasing contrast. This particular example features black, orange, brick red, and bluish agate pools happily co-existing, reminding me of the colors one might see in an old serape. There are a few fortified areas too, and thin edgings of white. The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer shape, and a nice glassy polish both front and back.
