Cheetah agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of cheetah agate, a fairly new material that hails from Brazil. Apparently, this agate is a by-product of an apatite mining operation. This example has a great display of blackish dendrites against a background of orange chiffon. It is semi- translucent, and unlike some that I've seen, the pattern is fairly clear rather than overly busy and muddy. It should be a breeze to turn it into an item of wearable art you'll be proud of. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a bold designer spear shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
