Morgan Hill poppy jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of top quality poppy jasper, from the famous Morgan Hill, CA. location, no longer open to collecting. This bold example has some large bullseye figures in muted yellow and magenta, ringed with bright crimson. The dark gray background has little bits of confetti, and a white quartz area edged with yellow. There are a couple of the typical hairlines common to this collectible material, but each is well healed and fine, so the stone is quite solid. It has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 5mm, and a crisp designer shape, polished both front and back.
