Amethyst sage agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. It features a great display of ornate black dendrites against a background of pastel lilac, snow white and deep purple. The deep amethyst pools are very dark but still translucent, while the remainder is opaque. I particularly like the contrast between the burnt gold mosses and lavender shades, my favorite kind! However, please note there are a few pits in one of the white areas. The cab has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a gracefully curved shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
