Noreena cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of noreena jasper, a spectacular newcomer from the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The color and figure reminds me of mungina stone, which is rather soft, but this well silicated noreena jasper is harder, with an even wilder pattern. Deep reddish orange windows frame muted bluegray 'windows', which are highlighted with bold strokes of flaming yellows. Very eye catching, to say the least, I think it'll be extremely attractive in even the simplest of settings. Grab it and give it a try! This cab has a high rounded dome of nearly 7mm, a bold designer 'spear' shape, and it is polished both front and back.
