Picasso jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large and colorfully bold cabochon of high grade Picasso jasper, from Utah. This is the same material that is sometimes also called Picasso stone or Picasso marble. Whatever you prefer to call it, I like it a lot, and think it is very well named indeed; it makes for delightfully unique artistic stones. This cab features an interesting pattern in shades of slate blue-gray, burnt orange, and cream, with jet black and white. It's sure to make a treasured item of jewelry, whatever you might have in mind. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a gracefully curved drop shape, and a super glossy polish both front and back.
