Jellybean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of top notch jellybean jasper, from Malheur County, Oregon; some call it Haystack jasper. This material is a wild brecciated party of vivid colors, like wine red, magenta, pink, and yellow/orange. I especially like the contrasting figures in this example, and the small agate pools. No jasper collection is complete without some jellybean, or feature it as the heart of any type of jewelry creation you can imagine. The stone has a rounded dome of 7.5mm, a plump designer 'flame' shape, and a slick polish both front and back.
