Amazonite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of amazonite, from Canada. It features pleasingly cool 'iced turquoise' shades, quite beautiful in their own quiet way. It is nicely translucent too, with an interesting display of silvery schiller that shows at certain angles. There are but a few subtle cleavage lines present, common to the family of feldspars. The cab has a high rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a fine polish both front and back.
