Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of Owyhee jasper, a long recognized classic from Oregon. This well marked example has an artistic pattern of both earthy and vibrant hues that includes the most prized dark reds. A few tiny black dendrites too. Excellent contrast here! The shape of the stone contains the figure beautifully, which should make creating a treasured piece of wearable art a breeze! The cab has a high rounded dome of 5mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
