Offered here is a cabochon of top notch African pietersite. This example has light and midnight blues with rivers of golden yellow chatoyance. Accents of reddish orange add even more color to the appealing palette of this stone; please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size to see the fine details. It has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and a fine glassy polish both front and back. And considering how the cost of fine pietersite has sky-rocketed in recent years, my per carat price for a stone of this size and quality is a steal!
