Dinosaur bone cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of fossilized dinosaur bone, from Utah. This highly silicated material is many millions of years old, a marvelous example of the natural preservation of our earth's ancient, extinct 'thunder lizards'. Over millenia, the cells in this fossil bone have been replaced with shades of red agate, some of which is translucent, with tan, brown & black cell walls. Check out the enlarged photos to see the details. It's a fine example of large-celled RED dinosaur bone for your designing or collecting pleasure! The cab has a rounded dome of 6+mm, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
