Offered here is a cabochon of gorgeous rhodochrosite, from Catamarca, Argentina, cut from the famed Ortiz 'Red Ruby' material prized from the highest level of the mine. This gemmy gel-like cab features glowing hot pink coloration that's to die for gorgeous. It has a fascinating pattern of crystalline veil inclusions within, and a delightful degree of warm translucence. This stone has a graceful designer drop shape, a low rounded dome of 4mm, and a slick glossy polish both front and back.
