Turquoise ~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of top notch spiderweb turquoise, from China. This one has plenty of very special "ZAT", meaning it has character and is extra appealing to the eye. It features absolutely GORGEOUS coloration and rich brown spiderwebbing, some of it intricate, with excellent contrast. This turquoise, more than any other, reminds me of the old Royston material I used way back when in my own jewelry. No doubt this material has been stabilized by some hardening process, as is most modern turquoise, but I don't believe it has been subjected to artificial coloring of any kind. It polished like a dream, and will wear wonderfully, without changing over the years. The cab has a well rounded dome of nearly 5mm, a plump designer 'flame' shape, and a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
