Riviera plume agate~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of rare Riviera plume agate, from Mexico. This beautiful, seldom seen material is a great favorite, and tough to come by, anymore. All too often, the prettiest of it is typically riddled with vugs, but not this one! It has only one tiny pinpoint void; the other sparkly crystalline areas are beneath the surface. Super detail in this fine example, very intricate and showy, including the classic fancy plumage in burnt yellow-orange and peachy pinks, against a background of translucent bluish-purple agate. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a fancifully curved designer 'flame' shape, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
