Offered here is a cabochon of chrysoprase, cut from old Australian material. These gemmy beauty has plume-like clouds of delicate pistachio green floating in nearly clear chalcedony, which gives them a great dimension of depth that's tough to illustrate in photos. It also has an impressive showing of spidery black dendrites, adding character. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, and a gracefully curved designer shape, well polished both front and back.
