Condor agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of colorful Condor agate, from Patagonia. This classic example has the brilliant fiery red and orange, with undertones of yellow, gold, olive green and black. This color combination is typical of this material, unmistakeably Condor agate! There's just nothing else like it. The stone is surprisingly translucent, with several healed lines radiating out from the core, similar to cornflakes in carnelian. They are what brought the brilliant colors into the central fortification when the agate was formed. Set this beauty in either gold or silver, and you'll have a real showpiece to be proud of, no doubt! The cab has a well rounded dome of 5+mm, and a graceful designer drop shape, polished to a gleaming brilliance both front and back.
