Tuxedo agate cab ~
Offered here is a bold cabochon of top shelf tuxedo agate. This striking example shows outrageously contrasting bands of black and bright blue-white to gray bands arching around and encompassing the core of the agate, which brings to mind the old raccoon that visits my porch every night. He's black and white too. -grin- In some areas, the super-fine banding displays an amazing degree of parallax, seeming to wiggle open and closed with movement. This beauty will be grand in even the simplest of settings, no doubt. It has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a plump designer 'almond' shape, and a brilliant glassy polish both front and back.
