Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This collectible spiderwebbed material is simply awesome stuff, a member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family I love so much. This remarkable stone is a study in various shades of burnt orange, salmon and gold, with streaks and webs of light and dark streaming throughout a semi-translucent greenish background. This one will surely turn heads wherever it goes! The stone has a high and well rounded dome of 6mm, a plump designer 'jellybean' shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
