Carasite cab ~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of PREMIUM carasite jasper, from Oregon. This wonderful old material is a member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family, closely related to its more famous cousin, morrisonite jasper, found nearby. Like morrisonite, it takes a dazzling shine. This stone is a outstanding example, featuring a wildly varied pattern in shades of avocado and forest greens, rich brown, peach, cream and more. Collectibly gorgeous and unique, this is some of the nicest carasite I have EVER seen! The cab has a beautifully rounded dome of 7mm, a plump teardrop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
