Willow creek jasper 3 cab set~
Offered here is a trio of matching cabochons cut from top quality Willow Creek jasper, old stock dug in Idaho. This treasured porcelain-like material is becoming increasingly hard to come by these days, particularly in the top quality everyone most desires. The rough for this stone came directly from the sole miner of Willow Creek jasper, and I was absolutely thrilled with what was revealed by the very first slice. These stones are a study in shades of reddish-brownish-mauve, with peachy pinks and cream, in a wildly artful light and dark pattern, and plenty between. This jasper happens to be one of Rain's favorites so you may have noticed I don't offer too many Willow Creek stones... It's only now that I have plenty to work with that I can occasionally sneak some by her. -smile- The large stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, while the smaller pair are 3mm in thickness. Each has a versatile designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
