Tiger iron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This unique stone was cut from hand picked material, selected especially for its patches of gleaming flash and fine banding. This splendid example has a pattern of longitudinal stripes consisting of chatoyant golden tigereye enclosed by razor thin ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite alternating with dark maroon jasper. The contrast is quite eye catching. The cab has a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, polished to a gleaming brilliance both front and back.
