Offered here is an extraordinary designer cabochon of top quality flowering tube onyx, from Utah. This material is simply stunning in its complex and varied patterns, and this cab is a fascinating example. It features several ornate flowers, bullseyes and more surrounded by concentric bandings and wild scallops, with bold contrast to spare. And happily, there's next to none of the all too typical fracturing that typically plagues this material. The gold, black and gray colors somehow remind me of Autumn. This cab is sure to attract attention no matter what the season. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a symmetrical teardrop shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
