Rose Agate cab ~
Offered here is a delightful cab of rose agate, brought in from Mozambique, Africa several years ago. Great name for this rare chalcedony because it obviously has beautiful rosy pink colors. This jelly-like example has EXTRA NICE saturated hues of crimson to reddish orange along with the usual rose and purple, and includes several odd branch-like tubes. Each of the tubes has a darker ghostly aura around it, best illustrated by the backlit photo. I wish I could tell you this stone is absolutely perfect, but it has a small hairline at the rounded end that plays peekaboo. Typical of these agates. I don't find it to be overly distracting and doubt you will either. The cab has a high rounded dome of 7+mm and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
