Cherry Creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Cherry Creek jasper, which hails from China. The background is a warm golden mango color, streaked with rich chocolate brown webbing, and includes mottled shadings of blue and olive green. Then there are several reddish and black metallic slashes too. It certainly cuts artistic cabs, very striking, and I think this one will make an outstanding item of jewelry. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a nice glossy polish both front and back.
