Offered here is a cabochon of Priday polka dot agate, which hails from Oregon. This grand old material is a real treat to work with, when you can find it, and never fails to cut extraordinary stones. This example has only a trio of the typical dots, along with an attractive pattern and coloration all its own. Bluish white at one side, a colorful mix of blended color at the other, with a wavy orangish line dividing the two. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a versatile shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
