Offered here is a large deluxe cabochon of malachite, from Zaire. It features the classic beauty of countless fine bandings in rich, vividly contrasting shades of light and dark green. For some unknown reason, my camera saw this stone a bit darker than it actually is in hand; who knows why? It's a fabulous example of bullseye malachite, sure to look absolutely magnificent set in either silver or gold, no doubt. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6.5+mm, a gracefully fluid designer shape, with a super glossy polish both front and back. Priced way, WAY under a buck a carat!!!
