Cathedral agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of cathedral agate, from Mexico. The rough for this cab was sliced nearly in cross section, giving this example a variety of patterns that includes lacy tubes and fortification banding. I particularly like the pinkish purple hues with the thin orange band. And the tiny bullseye. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curved designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
