Gem silica cab ~
Offered here is a beautiful cabochon of gem silica chrysocolla, from Arizona. It features wonderfully intense sky blue coloration, very even and consistent throughout the cab. It has an excellent degree of to-die-for gemmy translucence, as illustrated by the backlit photo. This thoroughly silicated material is quite hard, as durable as any other agate, and will easily last long enough to become a future heirloom. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
