Dinosaur Bone cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Utah's fossilized dinosaur bone, in a little smaller size. This highly silicated material is many millions of years old, a marvelous example of the natural preservation of our earth's ancient, extinct 'thunder lizards'. The cells in this fossil bone have been replaced with crimson red translucent agate, framed by a lattice of light cream webbing. Many of the cells are edged with darker red agate, and a few have faint fortifications. The stone has a nice degree of depth, at least to the bottom of the agate pools. This gem bone cab is GORGEOUS, a genuine piece of the past! The stone has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
