Owyhee jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This classic member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family is a long time favorite of many. This example has a patch of unusually strong and very beautiful sky blue, with other more muted blue shades, as well as cream and tan. There's also just a dab of red at one side. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6+mm, and a bold designer shape, polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
