Offered here is a cabochon of imperial jasper, terrific old stock Mexican material the like of which hasn't been found in years. If any does turn up in the marketplace, it typically commands quite a steep price. This gemmy example of porcelain jasper features two patterns: A pink ringed bullseye against a background of yellowish green, and another of diagonal shaded veils. The lightest green areas show a desireable translucence too. No doubt you'll be delighted and inspired when this one arrives! It has a high rounded dome of 7mm, and a graceful designer shape, brought to a brilliant polish both front and back.
