Polish flint cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of banded flint, which hails from Poland. To call it banded is surely an understatement, and this is actually one of the milder patterns, believe it or not. The wavy bands remind me of light pouring in through venetian blinds. I like this stuff a lot, and its earthy tones are versatile enough to go with most anything, in any type of jewelry. Try a cab of this Polish flint, I'm sure you'll want more. This one has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'flame' shape that contains the pattern nicely, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
