Biggs Jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Biggs jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic material has become quite collectibly rare and spendy these days. This example is rather scenic, in a minimalistic kind of way, with ribbons of rich chocolaty browns against creamy tans, along with a few well placed jet black dendrites. There's also a dab of blue gray at one end. It has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'pillow' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
